
The Tower Suite where the Recuritment Day takes place
Officially we may be out of recession, but many people are still looking for work and one of the biggest employers in Tamworth are holding a recruitment day next Sunday(February 7).
Drayton Manor Park are preparing for another mega season and are beginning their recruitment process for the seasonal staff.
The park is looking to fill positions in:
Colin Bryan, Managing Director of Drayton Manor Park said:
“We need committed and enthusiastic people to help give our visitors a fabulous day out to remember during the 2010 season, which will be extra special as it is our 60th Anniversary year.
“Working at a theme park is like no other job. My family has been running Drayton Manor since it opened in April 1950 and no day is ever the same. It really is a fantastic place to work and we hope people will want to come and join our team.”
The recruitment day will begin at 10am in the parks Tower Suite and is open to anyone who is interested in working the Theme Park.
All successful applicants will receive an attractive package including attractive pay, subsidised food and discounts across a range of purchases. There is no experience necessary as full training will be provided.
For those looking to enjoy the park, it reopens on Saturday March 20.

hello, I am looking for employment within your theme park, I am interested in guest services, I am good working on my own and as part of a team I am currently working at Birmingham airport as a passenger services agent we check in the passengers on there flights and tag there bags to there destination. I have worked at claires accessories as an assistant manager. i was just seeing if you have any jobs available in the restraunts or stalls department. i have done team building before and know how to work well with a team.
I currently work as a driver/factory and buildings maintenance for the past 5 years.previous to that i worked as a maintenance engineer in a busy production area at Foseco. ( for 30 years.) I now want to work with people in the leisure industry.outside in the open air.in particular i would love to work on the rides or the zoo area.I can turn my hand to most jobs. I may be 54 but but have many years left of work to look forward to.
